I've read the recent posts regarding third-party
affiliate program providers, and I would like to pose a
few questions of my own...

My company's website runs on a proprietary e-commerce
engine and uses a scripting language created in-house.
I researched several providers and narrowed my choices
down to BeFree and Linkshare because I was told that
only these two could work in our environment - does
anyone know if this is really true? I'd also like any
input about BeFree vs. Linkshare that anyone can
provide (I know the Art.com story).

I've heard a lot about Commission Junction lately but
at the time I was doing my research (August 99) they
seemed to be a lesser choice. Anyone know of reasons I
should reconsider CJ, taking into account our platform
and serious capacity issues?
