Hi all.

Here's my small contribution towards the
Monitor-size-statistics discussion.

I own a website - http://Babynamesindia.com - which has
been around for nearly 1.5 years now, and gets about
20,000-30,000 hits per month (currently).

These are the Monitor stats for my website till about a
few months ago (Source : thecounter.com - recently I
switched over to hitbox). These were the Stats when I
had received a little over 200,000 hits (overall).

Unknown  1%
640x480  16%
800x600  53%
1024x768  22%
1152x864  2%
1280x1024  2%
1600x1200  1%

Hope this helps in furthering the topic.
