managing e-newsletter subscription lists

My company produces printed newsletters for several
clients. In recent issues, we've asked recipients if
they'd rather receive an electronic version of the
newsletter. For those that reply yes, what are some
listserv (is this right terminology?) programs that we
should check out?

The simple way is to list the names of eveyone else on
the list, but we don't want to overwhelm the
recipients "To" boxes.
