Mailloop has one advantage that most bulk mail programs
don't have:

It connects directly to the mail server of the
recipient to deliver the message. For example, let's
say you have the following mailing list:

pmak_at_aaanime.net
sunlord_at_girlsofanime.com
support_at_ezvnet.com

It will connect to aaanime.net port 25 to deliver the
message to pmak It will connect to girlsofanime.com
port 25 to deliver the message to sunlord It will
connect to ezvnet.com port 25 to deliver the message to
support etc.

So your internet access and web hosting service
providers are NOT involved in this at all. You're not
using their mail servers; in fact, mailloop makes your
computer act as a mail server. This allows you to get
around any limitations that your ISP places on the
usage of their mail server, because you won't be using
it.
