RESPONSE

Up until recently I would have agreed -- but lately I'm
seeing numbers that suggest that Flash penetration has
increased dramatically, thanks to Macromedia bundling
it with a lot of other software products. (I wished I
had saved the newsletter where I read about it...)

It is, however, critical to provide for visitors who
don't have Flash so that they are not forced to
download a plug-in.
