A true statement, and supported even further that, for
the most part, the individual will often have more
devotion to his/her goals than outsourced businesses or
contractors might. However, a significant comparative
point is that outsourcing to a marketing and/or
advertising agency, for example, adds the prospect of
obtaining the agency's usually lower prices for media
buys. Agencies deliver more business to publishers than
an individual can. Therefore, agencies have leverage
with publishers that individuals do not. An agency that
buys net, negotiates an even more highly decreased
price that still satisfies the publisher's revenue
goals, charges the client less than the standard 15%
commission, and conducts itself in the best interests
of the client can always do better than even the very
savvy marketing individual. This usually translates
into a much more optimized ROI.
