Topic- Licensing / Private Labeling Content

I work for a company that stores and distributes a
massive amount of unique information. We manage
content that historically has been used by the media as
a resource to create written, audio, TV, and Web
content. It is extremely indepth, timely and
comprehensive. There is no direct competition for the
content we provide. We have just built a platform to
give consumers direct access to this content in a
number of different ways.

We want to explore private labeling this content to
sites, portals, and ISP's to deepen their content and
provide them with a value added offer for users. Our
research shows that users truly crave the information.
My question is how do you begin to address larger
content providers interested in such an idea? Most
must be bombarded with things like this daily. Is it
business development, go through an agency?
