If you're talking about SteveOuting's site
(http//content- exchange.com), I've been checking it
regularly since its inception, as I have a lot of
regard for what he and Amy say both there and in other
Web venues.

They're pretty clear about the mission on their Web
site:
"This is the place where writers, editors, and other
content creators can find online venues that want to
pay for content or content services. It also is where
online publishers can find professional content
talent."
I guess they may have changed things since launch (not
that uncommon a practice :-), but it looks pretty
up-front to me.

Hmm, this doesn't sound like Steve -- I've usually
found him very responsive (even before I had a banner
on his site :-).

Presumably as a free service? Nothing springs to mind
immediately (TANSTAAFL) beyond the obvious news ticker
feeds, but I'll check my reference files. Of course,
there is the adage that you get what you pay
for...though maybe the sociology of the Web has
changed that somewhat, given the general readiness
people haev to make material available online.
Cheers,
Vicki
