Complete Irony?

According to this press release on April 24th,
BroadBand digital group, the company who owns
FreeDSL.com said it has signed a deal with DoubleClick
for DoubleClick to provide it's DART advertising system
for FreeDSL.com

You may be asking what's the big deal - it seems like a
pretty standard press release.

The irony is that the founders of FreeDSL.com are
actually the founders of Adforce - one of Doubleclick's
biggest competitors in the outsourced ad solution
business. Adforce even ran negative ads a while back
(which were too negative for some magazines to run)
that made complete fun of DART.

What is everyone's take on this issue?
