Bruce,

Since you do not have any type of sign-up to collect
data, the next best thing to do is to do polls that are
related to the them of each page in your community.

With each poll ask for some type of demographic data,
age, sex or even zip code. If you do one of these
every week or so you will be able to collect data about
your audience that will allow you to more effectively
target ads within each community page.

This will also help you in selling your ad space as you
will be able to show who will be viewing the ads within
each section of your site. The fact that your audience
is primarily female and the large amount of time that
each visitor spends on your site will allow you to sell
ad and promotional space to niche product marketers
that are looking to reach the female market.

At the same time, polling your audience can also be
used to help provide data for your advertisers. I
would not suggest blasting your audience with market
surveys, but if you can relate it to the content, it
can be valuable for both your customers and visitors.
