Redirect to a secure page

Hi,

We are in the midst of developing an advertising
campaign that will re-direct the user to a secure page
on our client's web site. I was wondering if anyone
had any experience with doing so - was the campaign
successful or did it fail. I am concerned that the
click count will not be an accurate measure of the
number of visitors to the page due to the opt-out
nature of a secure web page (ie the user is informed
that he is about to visit a secure page - would he like
to continue).
