A friend of mine who works at yahoo once told me that
among the top 100 most searched for terms at yahoo is
the word ... 'Yahoo'

Why would someone already at yahoo.com do a search on
the single word term 'yahoo', let alone thousands upon
thousands of people every day? Who knows.

You can never assume people know what URLs do. My
brother, a senior level exec at ATT, did not realize
you could type whatever you wanted into the browser's
location window, becasue his location window wasn't
showing in his default browser settings. And he'd been
online for several years.
