Banner question

I'd be interested in knowing what the general thoughts
of online ad readers are on banner ads. Are they
effectivefor you personally? Do you actively
participate in them as part of your on-line ad
campaigns? What would you really like to get from a
banner ad if you get anything you wanted,speaking from
a marketing standpoint that is. Or any other thoughts,
gripes, kudos you may have about banner advertising in
general.
