I agree with you in terms of creating brand awareness
by using banner advertisement - if users see the ad
enough times, whether they click through or not, the
brand will become etched in their minds.
Have you tried Dynamic Flash banners:
http://www.kmgi.com/banner/default.htm - these are 5
times more effective for CTR and brand awareness than
animated Gif banners.
If you really want to create a strong image in the
marketplace, you should consider using webmercials -
