Very good reply.... I can safely say it has been a very
long time since I agreed with almost EVERYthing someone
has said in an email in a commercial email discussion
list. Phew!
It is a shame that people have treated email so badly
over the past. It has been like a kid in a sweet shop
for some people, WOW! ... abit of freedom woo hoo...and
they ruin it for most of us.
Unfortunately email promotion popularity has returned,
just in time to be despised again. This by the radical
un-solicited email vigilantes always eagerly looking to
cause trouble.
We have, like most.... always encouraged our clients to
look elsewhere from unsolicited mail as a prime
promotional means.... if they dont we would get into
trouble by OUR up-provider, and so would they.... BUT
we do suggest other places to go and other ways how to
promote. Such as...talking to people in Newsgroups that
have similar interests... or opt ins, or making links
list pages so as to provide a service in exchange for
emails.... there are many ways out there.... just go to
a search engine like www.search.com and look for "free
promotion" or go to www.dejanews.com and talk to
people.
It is a bit harder and more time consuming than
spamming the world, BUT it is safer and doesn't p' so
many people off.
Brad: I don't know if you have seen this product....
MAGIC found at
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/2576/magic.html
it allows you to see your messages on your
providers server, without downloading all the "k"....
you can view all the spam, or "unsolicited emails"
first and even view them ....and delete the messages
before downloading...saving you time on line and
costs.... also finger strain...deleting things at
Outlook stage....
Good luck
Cheers
