Hi Frank,

It takes more than just submitting your site to all the
search engines. If you want to find out if your site
is listed, go to each search engine and type your
entire index url. If it did not come out, your site is
not accepted by the search engines and you will have to
resubmit them again. The search engine will not inform
you and give no explanation why they reject your
submission. I once got Yahoo's email notifying me that
my clients site has been listed. But that doesn't
happen very often.

We do both automatic and manual check from time to
time, checking the ranking of our clients site. So I
would suggest you to do the same.
