Seems to me that a lot of people are missing the real
point here. The truth is that if you choose to spam,
you're exhibiting a trait that carries a certain set
of values -- or lack thereof -- for people to use in
assessing your brand culture.

Forget for a moment what your brand is. The fact that
you choose to spam immediately distorts whatever you
are into the commonly held perception of what a
spammer is. Usually, it's associated with low-life
scum who steal money from naive suckers and
inexperienced users.

If that's how you wish to be perceived, so be it. You
wouldn't be the first to destroy your brand through a
poor choice of tactics and I doubt you'd be the last.
