That's your problem. You didn't become a good citizen
first. It'd be like walking into a church, and on
that first Sunday, trying to sell car insurance to a
woman over coffee after the service.

You need to be a Good Neighbor first. Lurk. Listen.
Substantively contribute. Then, talk about your
product where appropriate.
