Hello Robert,

You gave great advice to Anne about contributing to a
group instead of sending spam. But I noticed you don't
seem too happy about it.

In response to your comment...

My advice to Anne would be... Picture this.

The local Chamber of Commerce coffee hour is buzzing
with conversation. Every one is contributing to the
discussion to the best of their ability, responding to
each other in earnest debate. You think this is all a
waste of breath. You don't want to contribute to the
conversation. In fact, you don't even want to join,
you only want to get business from this crowd.

So you burst in the door, run to the center of the
room, grab a chair, stand on it, and shout out your
price list to one and all. Then you jump off the chair
and make a beeline for the door.

Imagine the faces around the room. They wince as you
slam the door behind you.

They are so eager to give you business!
