You don't have to "spam"....you can go to a search
engine ...look up the Mags, Ezines, Media etc for
your trade or service or subject whatever, and
catalogue the items you find closest to your subject,
then one at a time...email the correct PRESS RELEASE
contact.... this is not spamming ...this is using the
web as it was meant.

Write your press release...IF it is interesting
content....then you will get through the door....
Most media outlets DON'T like advertising press
releases, they like news!

I have had some success already....BUT it is alot of
work....you have to build relationships and contacts...
and understand that out of 30 or 40 people you send
to, maybe one or 2 will bite....BUT then you have a
contact...and this you can use again for another
release..... BUT keep at it....even though you think
it is unsuccessful...most people give up and can't
understand why they don't get ahead.

I can tell you.... I sent ONE press release to some
media outlets and two weeks later I got an email saying
that they had published a story I sent in.... THAT day
we had 850 plus sessions (not hits) on our web site.....
this was a direct hit....it is VERY worth it....when you
get JUST one journalist from a major news outlet
publishing you.

Just PUSH on.... the net is about the written word....
