If your email was targeted, had sincere intentions,
(which could be easily verified) and was not mass
mailed, I would not consider it as spam but rather
proactive sales inquiry.
We should not go overboard with this spam paranoia--
and this is coming from a person who is very sensitive
to the issue. However, if we don't keep this within
proportion, soon enough we will not be able to
communicate with sites.
If you have something to offer to the site, which may
be of value to them, why should you not be allowed
contact them?
