Would have to say that to the general net population it
doesn't make much difference. Working for an ISP has
taught me a lot about the average internet user, a lot
of them don't know what a URL is much less how to type
it in and go directly to a site without finding it in a
search engine. And some of these people have web sites
with their own domain names.
