Dear Pamos,
The Internet is a good vehicle for trade full stop. If
you have an immovable trade object and your client
wishes to use the Net...I can think of a few ways.
1. Information globally to prospective clients, makes
him/her a "guru" of a type, and information leads to
consulting. BBS, chat, forms, FAQ, facilities.
2. Rather than Global..... try LOCAL... he/she prints
some cards and gets mobile...goes to peoples houses
armed with lap top...and shows them the wares on his
site, there may even be deals with overseas
manufacturers that the client may have to wait a few
weeks delivery BUT they will get it via the Net. Local
news, BBS, Chat, facilities.
3. Setting up relationships with other vendors around
the Globe. Reselling, partner programs, banner
exchanging, sponsoring, etc, facilities.
4. Offer News of up and coming Events...i.e. trade
shows, or new products that you may get into. News
Facilities, automation etc.
These are but a few ideas you can offer your client....
it will mean more work for you... BUT for the client he
will get a comprehensive site and you will bolster his
style and presence on the Net. PLUS..... you will have
a pretty good example to stick on your ELECTRONIC port
folio......
You don't have to stick to just one thing....
Unfortunately cant help you with E-Coupons....
Cheers
