You might also want to review your wording, including
your subject. Spam is usually very gung-ho, "must buy
now", pushy. If I am contacting someone "cold" via
email, I would try to be very personable. Rather than
pitching, I would BRIEFLY explain how I discovered
their address, what I liked about their business, and
only very briefly mention my product/service. Then I'd
ask them if they're interested in meeting or talking on
the phone. The emphasis here is on NOT sounding like a
"telemarketer".
