There are third party firms that act as intermediaries
currently. These firms include LinkShare, BeFree and
CommissionJunction. They handle tracking, stats and
payment for companies including Dell Computer, Barnes &
Noble, American Express and our firm. Most affiliates
seem to be reasonably satisfied with this arrangement,
precluding the need for an alternative escrow
relationship.
