Personally, I have found on-line advertising to be more
cost effective. Newspaper advertising is very
expensive, and in my case, I still needed to send
follow-up info in the mail. This was costly as well,
and sometimes the interest was no longer there by the
time the info arrived.

Secondly, I have found that banner ads and links in
similar sites produced much better results. They say
it takes 12 contacts to make a customer. If you can
bring them to your website, offer them something of
value in a tip or newsletter that they receive via
email once a week, there is a much better chance of
turning that person into a customer.
