Hello
I would like to comment on a couple of topics.

Absolutely. Keywords have their place in getting
people to your site no matter what type it is. Of
course, I would not use that as my only source of
advertising. The average person today lives in the "I
want it now" mode. They want to be able to find
anything quickly and by typing in a keyword, if your
site comes up - bingo they will look. How many only
look at the top 10 results?

Perhaps try looking at this page or doing a search
using the word "statistics".
http://www.teleport.com/~tbchad/stats1.html this should
lead you to several resources and I hope it helps.
This will also lead you to information on stats for any
subject including advertising.
