online advertising account planning

Can anyone tell me where can I find information about
how the account planning department is being
implemented in online advertising agencies or who can I
contact to find out about it? In what way is it
different from the way it_s done in traditional
agencies? My first thought is that, given the necessary
technology knowledge and a communiation model in which
the user has a much more active role, those differences
should be applied, but I don_t know exactly how.
