Hi Darcy,
   
I'm pretty much where you are right now. I am also
going to contact people to advertise on my site. May I
ask what you are charging? Maybe your rate is too
high. Also, I wonder if your method of contacting
these people in ineffective (email). I too want to
send an email to perspective advertisers, but my
concern is that the email will not go directly to the
decision maker. What does your email say? Can you send
it too me? I will critique it if you like.
