Great point Ted Turner made, but just because you have
billions doesn't mean you've got brains.
The 'net, ebooks, Palms, technology - can never take
away the liquidity of a newspaper and/or other print
media. The closest thing to a newspaper is an ebook or
palm computer with downloaded content. I've used the
later before and did get news I wanted. However, the
form factor is not suited for reading long text - not
just short news clips.
I must say though....I now go to NYTimes.com,
DrudgeReport.com, MSNBC.com, mostnewyork.com,
nypost.com - I no longer need to read the Daily News,
NY Post or NY Times anymore. HOWEVER, most people (my
life style is different than most) will still by a
newspaper.
PS - magazines, I'd put good money on that they'll be
around for a long while....try reading a 300 page Fast
Company magazine on your PC!
