and or recommedations for software there are a few that
exist now that are quite good.

Try Ad Resource at www.adresource.com, Digitrends at
www.digitrends.net and Web Developer's Journal at
www.webdevelopersjournal.com.

These sites offer good articles and comparisons of
products, sites and services.
