As Patrick pointed out, there can easily be
discrepancies between log based traffic information and
the advertising impressions served by DoubleClick, etc.

A good way to be able to get an audit of the
DoubleClick impressions is to make use of one of the "1
pixel" tracking tag technologies (i.e. WebTrends Live,
Webside Story's Hitbox Enterprise, etc)

At my previous company, we were using these tags to
generate real-time statistics on a number of our sites.
When I performed an audit of our Hitbox tags vs. the
DART report, I found that they matched to within 1-2%.
