Button Ads

Hi all,

A client is investigating the feasibility of button ads
on his site. He is currently generating about 300k page
views/mo. Ads would be about 120x40 and displayed on
the highest traffic pages on the first pageview.
Eventually, there may well be rotational spots as well.

- What would be an acceptable rate?
- Is it better to start a bit higher and be willing to
  negotiate down?
- Average percent flexibility?
- At what frequency could those rates be increased w/o
  getting advertisers upset? Page-views are increasing
  exponentially with an expected 1000k by mid 2001.
- What is the average contract length?

Any other suggstions??
