There's more juice (a lot of juice) in the pure
"content" Web publishing industry bucket!

On businesswire today, SmallBusinessDepot.com Signs
First-Ever Total Site Sponsorship with Brother
International Corp. (Business Wire)

     LYNDHURST, NJ--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 16, 2000--
In what is believed to be the first buy of an
entire web site by a major consumer advertiser,
     Brother International Corporation will occupy
     all available advertising positions throughout
the remainder of October and most of November
     on SmallBusinessDepot.com.

There's more hope than I thought for "content" Web
sites! As small biz marketers look to reach more small
businesses with more creativity and intimacy than
print, radio or TV adv can provide, small business Web
sits will become increasingly popular and very
important! If Brother International properly leverages
the intimacy and dynamism of online advertising, in
conjunction with traditional brand/awareness building
print/TV advertisements - don't be surprised to see an
increase in their revenue over the next few months.

If you have a great content site, with a loyal audience
- 1) grow its audience size 2) hook up with an adv
agency (don't waste money paying someone(s) to sell
ads, unless you are pulling in a HUGE chunk of cash) to
sell ads for you
