Cost of client in automotive

Hello,

I have one simple question. How much does it cost in
different regions - to attract via Internet a client
for a company, which sells new auto details (Nissan,
Mistubishi)? I mean the cost of an online sale.

I'm from a Russian online advertising agency - and in
Russia (Moscow only, because the Nord-West and Siberian
regions are almost unreachable via Internet, and other
regions have almost no Internet users at all - 2 700
000 user for all Russia, 35% in Moscow) cost per sale
for online shop of auto details is about $100, and it
seems to be very high cost. Really, it's too much - if
usual sum of sale is about $250 and profit from this
sale is about $70... Is so high a cost of sale specific
for Russia, or it is usual for US and Europe too?

My calculation (on my russian experience):
cost per 1000 shows - about $5
CTR - 0,5%
% of sales between visitors of site - about 1%
cost per sale = $100

Has anybody alternative experience?
