Re: Too much "rich media" pushed to IW Fall 2000 journalists

Ramon Ray opined in LED 10/27/00 that his inbox was not
the place for vendors to push rich media.

I have to agree.

Another pet peeve of mine: I tend to download my
messages and log off (dial-up connection). When
someone's coded their email to cause my browser log-on
to pop-up continuously (try to force me back on-line)
they get deleted **RIGHT NOW**

I do the same in the real world--first the little cards
that fall out of magazines; second, the annoying double
pages, and when possible, the heavy card stock pages
are torn out and tossed.

Talk to me with good copy and/or good design, but don't
try to force feed me junk.

My $.02. Dave Clark
