We have 50 newsletters and 2.5 million subscribers. We
send out over 2 million newsletters per day. We are
100% double opt-in. We use Lyris. We have used other
products. In the price range, they seem to be the
best.

The software is not easy to operate. We have a
dedicated team. For 50,000 per month, I would use a
service bureau, and not host on your own. We started
out at a service bureau and only 9 months ago, brought
our operations in-house. We operate more than 12 Lyris
Mail Servers.

Lyris has a service bureau operation. Others include
Dundee and Penn. We do not "officially" do hosting,
although we have some high volume hosting clients that
like the fact that we know how to operate the software
so well because we use it for newsletters that we own.
