In response to your question..I specialize in the Latin
American market and it appears that the Latin American
search engines and directories are a cross between
search engine robots and human-edited directories.
Getting indexed is fairly straightforward but requires
quite a bit of research and dedication. There are over
100 Latin American search engines/directories/portals
and they are not only regionally focused but
country-specific.
