Dear Online readers,
Had to make comment on this subject as the anti-spam
hysteria has reached new heights, a new disturbance in
the 'force'. Products we have all been using for so
long are now being declared as 'spam tools', and the
innocent users are going to be caught up in the 'witch
hunt'. WHAT is going on? Have these do-gooders run out
of things to complain about?

WARNING! Are these 'SPAM' tools hiding out on YOUR
desktop?
Outlook, ICQ, HotMail, Submission softwares, yes even
Database System Software - these products are of the
latest types of email related softwares to be attacked
by the loonies we lovingly refer to as 'ant-spammers'.
These great Online, revolutionary, products are being
targeted as spam tools....
WHAT!!! I hear you say.... well, there is a group out
there dispensing warnings (by unsolicited email, no
less) about using this type of software, software that
can send un-solicited emails. Unfortunately it would
not be prudent to mention who they are, as they are
apparently a "law unto them selves" and can 'persuade'
your ISP to blacklist you, no joke. So, treat this as a
warning, and maybe consult your ISP as to your rights.
This little band of 'do gooders', familiar description
I know, with nothing better to do and probably no other
source of income, while stroking their massive and
growing ego's, are turning Net trade into an Ecommerce
minefield.
The Net. Communication, information highway. Freedom of
speech is what nurtured it, the good old US of A became
the obvious playing field, allowing access to a fast,
efficient, cheap form of communication, at first for
the 'people', and inevitably for the state, country and
the economy, and maintained by a freedom fanatic
country.
Economy, or Ecommerce, as is the usually accepted Net
term, unfortunately thought of as the pioneer of
potential 'evil', the creator of all change to what was
once 'good' and unfettered, is usually the catalyst for
life improvement, though that may be a debatable point.
Economy thrives best on speedy communication and
delivery, thus robust and cheap communication tools
such as email and the Net, is invaluable to the future
of all trade.
The founders: the techos, the geeks - creators of
present day communication and Ecommerce, God bless 'em;
solicited offline business, with dreams of new trade
frontiers, global dealings, stocks and shares,
millions, billions and trillions... to get some of that
trade 'cash' they had in their pockets. They got their
cash and built a pretty good communication system.
Web sites became the centers of trade, while email
became the new delivery system. Email took on a new
urgent role, from the once discussion toy, it is now
the world's most useful communication tool, the new
style 'telephone', attracting all the reverence the
first telephones received. Email is the introducer, the
meeting keeper, the dealmaker, deliverer of data and
products - it even survives virus bashings. Email has
come through it all. Try

,1323,10098_499491,00 .html CyberAtlas - 'The Web
Marketers Guide to Online Facts' - showing the leading
promotional method used is direct e-mail.
So, with email globally acknowledged as the leading
tool for progress in the new millennium for both
business and general quality of life, why do we put up
with the 'whingers', the 'nay sayers', the few
net-trade saboteurs, trying to block it_s use? Why are
we unconcerned to leave the future-of-Ecommerce 'on and
off' button in the hands of the blinkered few? What
happened to that U.S. freedom?
Outlook, ICQ, HotMail, Submission softwares, Database
System Software, are all readily available due to our
push for communication, with the event of email, and
have a future based on one over riding need - potential
global trade.
Why have these amazing technical innovations been
stamped, nay, tarred with this 'spam tool' brush?
Because... we have let the loonies take control of our
freedom. Maybe we can send them a message and tell them
to bug out... no, unfortunately that would be an
'un-solicited' message.
