This morning on Business Wire I saw an interesting
release re: Mediaplex's launch of their new MOJO Mail
technology-- "the first e-mail marketing tool to
generate message content directly from enterprise
systems when the e-mail is opened, rather than when it
is sent."
According to the release, MOJO Mail delivers real-time
messages tied to an advertiser's back-end data
(inventory, pricing, customer information, etc.).
"Users of MOJO Mail upload their in-house mailing list,
then use HTML templates to define dynamic content
fields. Business rules can be programmed by the
marketer to segregate customer groupings for specific
offers. Once the dynamic fields are defined and
business rules are complete, the marketer can tag
relevant pages in order to track customer behavior
through to a transaction and deliver real-time ROI
results."
