Hmm... 30% was badly put try allot lower.... you will
have to put lot more into the front page than that...
Sorry.... but just try surfing the Net for an
hour...and you will see a difference.
First... (now I will not be the only one telling you
this stuff so I wont make this email a mile long...I
will let others 'ave a go too) ..... NEWS!!! Try some
news...this is a VERY personal subject Gunsights,
warbirds and spitfires aren't exactly every day
shopping items... so you have your OWN captured
market....you can keep them there by creating updated
News. Events air shows, club outings, meets, auto
jumbles, etc etc.
2. Links to others such as you... there cant be
thousands... surely. So link to them... offer to
promote their goods on your site, exchange links, get
some of their pictures....
3. PICTURES...where are they??? DONT say they are on
this link or hat link...stick em on the front
page...after all THAT is where they are going.
4. Content.... do you have anything to say... because
there isn't anything here... give us some info... up
the size of the text a bit...try it first...at the
moment it is very small.
5. Airports that allow old aircraft to fly at,
airfields, show grounds.
6. History, signs, books, insignia, famous battles that
some of your products were used for the first time or
successfully.
7. Army and Navy stores, Military clothing stores,
specialists, etc.
8. Flight Simulators - there are hundreds around the
Net... try www.google.com and put in 'Flight
Simulators' in the search field, this is fun stuff, BUT
it is a light hearted touch...I KNOW you flight jockeys
love that stuff...my colleague IS one!!
This is called 'interactivity', and this is what brings
people back, this is what makes people BOOKMARK your
site.... then you announce it in the usual ways,
banners, Ezines, Search submissions, Aircraft
magazines, Parts mags, Flight mags...even the MODEL
mags.... there is so much you can do...
Good luck... hope this helps.
Yours most sincerely
