Selling Adspace? Banner Networks?

Hello all,

I'm new to this list. I am a college student and run a
website that is oriented towards students at my school.
The site is getting over 300,000 hits in its first
month, and I have only passed out about 200 business
cards with the site name. I plan on doing a major ad
campaign in the near future as well as contests. As
such, I would like to start "earning" for my hard work.
I've had several requests for pricing on placing a
468x60 banner at the top by financial institutions and
many local businesses. I don't know what to charge. I
also don't know whether to just use a CPM banner
network instead. Any suggestions? What's a good price
for advertising on a 300k hit site. 10 banners in
rotation max.
