I would highly recommend hitometer.com. I've been
using it for two years as an early-read snapshot of
traffic and source, and it provides quite a bit of
detail. It also sends you an email every day with all
the information, which is very handy. We have more
sophisticated tracking tools, but it's one way to tag
your home page, or any page, and know the next morning
exactly where your traffic came from.
