In response to John Fleming's post about focus group
research...

My company conducts this kind of research regularly,
and we've found that newly acquired customers or leads
are very responsive to answering questions about their
experience if offered an incentive, such as a credit to
use on our site. You might want to conduct a sampling
in-house and see what kind of response you get. Though
you may find a company who can do the research for you,
no one knows your business as well as you do, and the
potential customers will resent being contacted by an
unknowledgable associate.
