Look everyone -- there is a simple and effective (and
FREE) solution to spam paralysis for any user of a POP
mail account. I swear by this exceptional service
(having used it for almost 2 years) and I recommend it
one-hundred percent -- Brightmail:
http://www.Brightmail.com/
Brightmail filters out and catalogs anywhere from 20-50
spam messages for me each day. And it does so by a
unique relay method that requires no change to existing
mail server settings. Use it and you will be released
from spam hell!
I also use special server-side methods to prevent
'mailto' links on client web sites (or any embedded
e-mail reference) from being spidered by spam robots.
