It is impossible to completely 'block' auto-submission
services. I previously worked for a free webhosting
service, HyperMart, before it was aquired by Go2net.
One of the problems on the servers was the links pages
people would post got hit HARD by auto-submitters;
eventually they chose to simply disallow FFA pages
completely.

It is possible, however, to change the coding of a page
and hope that the submitters don't catch on. I host
somewhere in the range of 10-20,000 links pages that,
as of yet, can not really be hit by autosubmitters (nor
do we allow email collection of the people who post).
I believe if this is done links pages can be an
interesting and useful way to add to a page.

But if you are constantly getting pounded with
autosubmissions... there's no real point.
