Search engines seem to pull up all variations of a
term, but that shouldn't be your only concern. Before
you use a .Net or other variant of a .com domain, you
need to check the for trademarks on the base part of
the name. If you don't, you may find that after you
start to use the domain and attract traffic to it, you
get sued to stop using the name.
