Katie,
Some key elements to look for are:
Reliability. The last thing that you would like to see
occur is your monitoring to go down midway through your
campaign and stats lost.
Scalability is a vital element to consider too. You
would and should be able to monitor many sites and
creative elements at once, allowing optimization while
your campaign is running.
Post-click data can be the most important issue for
some advertisers. If you have a specific goal in mind,
such as a download or registration, you'll want to see
where users drop off in the sign up process and
optimize those pages accordingly.
Accessibility. An interface available through a web
browser is vital to giving you real time data on the
advertising you are monitoring. You should also have
minimal time consumption implementing or installing the
service.
