At Beyond Interactive we've seen average CTR for opt-in
email between 1.5% and 3% depending on the offer and
whether the email is in HTML or Text. Conversions rates
are strong too, usually over 5%. For the most part
HTML garner a higher response, however, if you are
targeting a very tech-savvy audience we've found better
response with text emails. We never do unsolicited
buys as the negative response far out ways the
positives of this type of mailing.
