Seems to me that the only folks this might hurt are the
ones that are buying very generic terms, such as cars
or loans. Try as I might, I have a very difficult time
finding generic Google searches that even load two ads.
Click-thru success is all in the targeting.

Is it just me, or has Google just recently added the
news links at the top, targeted by the search, that
compete for the visitor's attention as well? I'm more
concerned about that - doesn't look, at this phase, as
an incentive to increase usage of Google, but does seem
to be just one more competitive link against my paid
advertising.
